Goals of education
Goal of education is to provide healthcare management and informatics necessary to switch dental knowledge from on-site to service in order to meet the changing healthcare environment. Our education helps people to adapt to new healthcare environments and to efficiently operate the healthcare organization on the basis of systematic knowledge by acquiring knowledge about organization of dental healthcare organization, configuration of personnel, marketing skills, strategic development and behaviors of customers and suppliers, and further obtaining information and technologies necessary for management of healthcare organization and treatments.
On the basis of understanding of clinical treatment sites and environments, we teach the theory and techniques of healthcare informatics. They acquire engineering techniques for information system and conduct studies by performing various projects. They product knowledge necessary in the field by finding research development projects which meet the goals of education and conducting studies.

- Study on characteristics of healthcare institution as the organization
- Study on competitive behaviors between healthcare organizations and marketing techniques
- Study on behaviors of customers and customer care techniques in the healthcare organizations
- Study on development and analysis of healthcare management cases through site visits
- Study on strategic approach in order to satisfy changes in healthcare environments in Korea
- Study on information system including healthcare informatics, bioinformatics, computer introduction and literature searches
- Study on standardization of medical terms, data modeling, medical knowledge and ontology modeling
- Education of information technology at practical dimension such as electronic mandatory records, remote healthcare and data security supporting healthcare service
