I am Park, Gun Bae, 30th class, assuming the position of the president of the 31st Alumni Association.
Thank you. Such great honor gives me infinite pleasure and simultaneously fear, since I lack in many aspects. I understand my position as a message to continue to extraordinary works and legacies of the Alumni Association.

I believe that many alumni of the School of Dentistry are proud to be a member of the Alumni Association.
 This is because the Association has senior members mentoring us with the abundant knowledge and experiences, as well as junior members who are actively serving the communities with their excellent commitment.

Moreover, the Association has remarkable history and accomplishment of alumni immersing themselves in training their juniors, offering trusted dental services to patients, expanding oral health care to vulnerable communities, and improving the dental practice for the welfare and betterment of the society.

However, some alumni’s behaviors and thoughts to satisfy themselves at the detriment of others are becoming a pervasive problem. It is truly regretful that such problem eventually would disgrace the honor and reputation of the Association. From now on, the Association will endeavor to implement reinforced membership management through maintaining and promoting good relations and effective communications among the members. The Association will continue the current alumni events, and will also foster additional activities beneficial for the members’ dental practices.

The Association will work for the advancement of true fraternal ties imbued with respect, courtesy, understanding, and love among fellow alumni. As the growth of the Association directly leads to the betterment of the school and also leads to the advancement of the dental society, it encourages all types of active alumni participation and involvement. Lastly, we sincerely promise that we will do our best to invigorate and renew alumni connections, and alumni activities.
