The Seoul National University Museum of Dentistry is the first of its kind, established in 1994 and reopened on December 28, 2001. The museum’s collection comprises nearly 6000 pieces, including dental equipment, medicine documents and books from around the time when the Japanese first introduced modern Western dentistry in Korea, offering a snapshot of the development of Korea’s modern dentistry.

We also collect and display dental-related artifacts, providing related information and an educational platform for younger students. The museum serves as a history archive and cultural space through which the public can learn the history of Korea’s dentistry and acquire useful information.
