본 연구실에서는 구강악안면부의 경조직인 치아와 뼈를 만드는 데 관여하는 골모세포，상아모세포의 분화 조절에 대한 연구를 진행하며, 중간엽줄기세포에서 이들 세포로의 분화를 조절하는 전사인자, miRNA, 천연추출물, 저분자화합물의 효능을 검사하여 경조직 재생을 촉진하는 치료약물을 개발하고자 연구를 수행하고 있다.
