Current Research Interests

최근 구강건강에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 치아 유지 욕구도 더욱 증대되고 있다. 손상된 치아의 재생은 치아의 전체 재생과 부분 재생으로 나눌 수 있는데, 본 실험실은 일차적으로는 치아의 상아질-치수 및 치주조직을 형성하는 세포들의 분화조절을 통하여 궁극적으로 손상된 치아와 치아주위조직을 재생함을 목표로 한다. 
          
치아 발생과정의 연구를 기반으로 상아질과 치주조직을 형성하는 상아모세포와 백악모세포의 분화, 치수및 치낭줄기세포를 이용한 상아질-치수와 치주조직의 재생, 치수-치낭줄기세포의 선택적 분화조절, 치주질환의 발생과 진행 및 골세포의 분화조절 등을 세포생물학적 및 분자생물학적 방법으로 연구하고 있다

Research Methodology

1. 상아모세포의 분화 조절 및 상아질 재생

  : PA-CM과 Copine7을이용한 치수줄기세포의 분화조절

  : Copine7을 단백질을 이용한 상아질의 재생과 상아질 지각과민증 치료 기술 개발

  : Copine7을 단백질의 세포내 작용기전 및 조절 인자 연구

2. 치주조직의 재생 및 치주질환의 병인론

  : 상피-간엽 상호작용을 이용한 치주조직 재생 연구

  : 바이오마커 ODAM을 이용한 치주질환과 임플란트주위염의 조기진단

3. Nuclear factor I-C를 이용한 골다공증 관련 연구

  : NFI-C에 의한 치아줄기세포의 stemness 조절
