줄기세포분화 연구는 인간의 만성 난치성 질환을 새로운 개념의 치료할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하는 연구분야입니다. 세계적으로도 연구의 초기단계이나 그 결과의 파급성 때문에 많은 관심을 가지는 분야입니다.
본 연구실의 연구내용은 아래와 같습니다.
1. 인간 배아줄기세포， 성체줄기세포의 기전연구를 통한 분화법 개발
2. 인간 래 줄기세포를 이용한 줄기세포 niche 연구
3. 인간 배아 줄기세포 역분화 (de-differentiation) 연구
4. 면역결핍동물을 이용한 인간줄기세포 생체내 fate 추적 연구
5. 유전자 도입 동물유래 줄기세포 세포주 확립
6. 인간 줄기세포 genetic profiling 및 characterization 연구
7. 인간 줄기세포 생체내 증폭 모델 연구
