Current Research Interests
Caiology
치아우식증은 인류에게 가장 만연하는 감염성 질환으로 mutans streptococci가 대표적 원인세균으로 알려져 있다. 원인균의 독력인자와 병인론에 관한 연구를 통해 치아우식증을 예방하고 조절하기 위한 다양한 방법을 개발

1. Individual caries risk assessment를 위한 tool의 개발과 이용

2. Mineral –interactive macromolecule과 pellicle precursor를 통한 치아표면의 biofilm의 형성과 caries의 pathogenesis

3. Mutans stereptococci의 virulence에 대한 molecular biological approach: potential utilization of molecular biological approaches in caries prevention

4. Cariostatic option으로서 vaccination
