Dr. Taeil KIM has focused his attention on revealing the mechanism of periodontal disease. This would have led him to investigate the molecular biological aspect of periodontal tissue cells. As periodontal regeneration is his ultimate goal, he has been searching for suitable biomaterials and optimal environments. Consequently, periodontal tissue engineering is his research topic. He also dedicates himself to the study of dental implantation for reliable treatment.  For this purpose, he has worked out a way to design novel devices in periodontal and dental implant studies.
