1. 교정치료와 악관절 장애의 관계를 다양한 임상검사， MRI， bone scan등을 이용하여 분석하고 악관절 장애시 생길 수 있는 안모의 변화 및 진단과 치료 계획수립에의 적용에 대해 연구하고 있다.
2. 교정치료에 있어서 고정원(anchorage)의 조절은 치료 결과를 좌우 할 만큼 중요하다. 최근 절대 고정원을 얻기 위한 mini-implant의 사용으로 환자의 협조에 덜 의존하면서 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 mini-implant의 다양한 임상적 응용과 적용 범위에 대해 연구하고 있다.
