Research Areas
  • Immunology, microbiology and related academic basic theory and research methods
  • Cellular and molecular microbiology to understand molecular characteristics of the microorganism, the expression and regulation of virulence factors, mechanisms of the pathogenesis, and signaling pathways of host cells
  • Various techniques for analyzing the molecular pathogenesis mechanisms (mutation, Microarray, protein expression, in vivo expression techniques, gene knockout, etc)
  • Knowledge in areas of genomics, metagenomics, pathogenomics, proteomics and reverse vaccinonology necessary for a comprehensive understanding of the microorganism
  • Development of cooperative and future-oriented thinking necessary to play roles to create knowledge in the fields of immunology and molecular microbiology required to establish interdisciplinary convergence study
  • Development of active and independent research skills required to grow as a science technology expert
